Roxana Robinson is a highly respected literary talent who is bringing the voice of the second family onto the horizon of American art. How often have we all searched the pages of literature, rarely to see our own step family realities depicted between the covers? It seems that writings have not caught up with societal trends, leaving some of us feeling invisible. After having read some of her works, it is definately a relief to see our sufferings and triumphs depicted in print. It somehow makes us feel less alone and more "real". Thank-you Roxana, for bringing to life stepmothers who aren't keeping their daughters from the ball, or feeding them poison apples. We all owe you a great debt of gratitude!
